We are thrilled to announce that PPS has initiated a Gifted and Talented Path to identify and support students who are functioning above their age level. We understand that every student has unique abilities and talents, and we are committed to providing them with the resources and support they need to reach their full potential.

To identify gifted and talented students, we are using a variety of methods, including the CAT4 and MAP scores, internal assessments, and teacher observations. Parents are also a critical part of the identification process, and we encourage them to share their observations and complete the Home Rating School System for the Gifted and Talented.

Once identified, our teachers work closely with students and parents to set goals that best suit their needs. We are committed to providing these students with a unique education, one that provides greater challenge in lessons, enrichment in extra-curricular activities, and opportunities to extend their talents to the highest level possible.

In addition to academic support, PPS is also nurturing talents in the arts, music, sports, and leadership skills. Our yearly talent show provides an opportunity for students to showcase their skills, and our student leaders are conducting awareness sessions and creating adds and posters to promote positivity and engagement in the school community.
